In 1976 I bought my 1st classical guitar and a guitar book. By 1980, I progressed on the acoustic guitar. I started playing some of the old English pop music scores, such as the most famous score 'The house of the rising sun' a simple score but very effective.

In 1989, I joined Geet Sangeet, a local Indian music band, just formed through friends. I used my acoustic guitar to jam with the band initially. Once I was comfortable I bought my 1st electric Fender Stratocaster guitar.

By mid nineties, Bollywood music was churning more sophisticated music tracks. They were incorporating more modern instruments such as bass, drums, octopads and electronic keyboards. My natural progression was the bass guitar.
