As a founder member of what is now Bollywood Beats, I have played keyboards for the band for 20 years. Over the years, I have seen the band evolve into what is now a class act giving me the opportunity to work with the finest artists.

Brummie born and bred, I developed a passion for Indian music at a very early age, due to social and cultural influences. My family were also very encouraging and supportive and I had my first keyboard at the age of nine. Involvement in live performances with various musicians was a natural progression from this point onwards.

Playing for Bollywood Beats demands knowledge in a vast range of music styles, including film tracks, bhangra and traditional Gujarati folk music, therefore my inspiration comes from a multitude of sources. Although, I am a great lover of the evergreen music produced and performed by artists of earlier years, the calibre and technical precision of current producers and artists is astounding. Shankar-Ehsan-Loy and Vishal-Shekhar being amongst these.
